tragedy vampires ist eine irische gothik, deathrock-band aus enniskillen, irland. die band entsprang 2014 aus den resten von 'the mysterious deadbeats' und 'joy of 6' genauer gesagt aus den mitgliedern bob (gesang, gitarre), darron (gitarre, hintergrund gesang), john (gesang, keyboards, drum, programming) und paddy (bass, gesang).
das vorliegende album ist noch aus der zeit vor "tragedy vampires" und enthält songs der anderen band und wurde nun unter den namen tragedy vampires veröffentlicht.

"between the period of 2005-2006 enniskillen deathrock band 'the mysterious deadbeats' released an ep titled 'songs to die for' and released their one and only album 'kiss of death'. the band pressed up about 60 'physical' copies of the album on cd, as well as offering the album and ep to download for free online, before swiftly splitting up, before anyone had really even noticed they existed, let alone knew they had gone...
in the year 2010 the core members of 'the mysterious deadbeats' regrouped and returned under the name 'joy of 6', and guess what there were now six of us! eventually over time, 6 became 4 and in october 2014 we morphed into 'tragedy vampires'. many of these 'mysterious deadbeats' tracks can still to be found in the 'tragedy vampires' live sets to this day! so, just in case you are ever 'un' lucky enough to hear us live and want to hear some of the stuff that we played that's not actually on the album (that we have most likely coerced you into purchasing) then, here it is and for free too...

tragedy vampires release their debut album on friday 13th march 2015, but we thought we'd share these songs again as 'the mysterious deadbeats' project and these songs will always be very dear to our rather cold, gothic, tragic, sombre hearts... "
