die band Carmen wurde im februar 2013 von Pablo Spektro (gesang und producer) und Daniel Martinotti (gitarre) in buenos aires, argentinen gegründet.

"the band called carmen was formed in february 2013. its members, pablo spektro (vocals and producer) and daniel martinotti (guitar) came together in this project after having been part of others. pablo, singer and composer of carmen, was the leader, composer and singer on wdk, one of the first argentine ska-punk bands through which could share the stage with local and international bands like the offspring, shelter, ataque 77 ska p and summer tours with the other i and kapanga. as frontman of wdk and "lee chee" (former bassist of the legendary band "the witches") as manager, he came to play toured latin america: chile, paraguay, guatemala and mexico. meanwhile dany (daniel) played drums in the legendary band los telépatas for the past seven years, where he recorded an album and songs that were part compiled. carmen journeys styles: dark wave, electro pop, techno pop and new wave; with depeche mode, new order, joy division, erasure, and even horror films of the 80s, as an influence. his first album, self-titled the band name, they recorded in 2016 and consists of 13 songs."
