das "the cage studio" wurde 1993 von martin bowes (attrition) gegründet um seine eigene musik zu produzieren.

diese sampler zeigt nur einige der künstler und seine arbeit mit ihnen und er enthält 22 songs an deren produktion er beteiligt war, viele seltene und unveröffentlichte mixe der künstler mit denen er zusammen arbeitet.

"the cage studios was founded in 1993 as a vehicle for me to produce my own music. originally used primarily for attrition works and a few select remix , production and mastering projects, i opened the cage doors to the world in 2011 and since then have been working with so many inspiring bands and labels in genres as diverse as dark ambient, post punk, noise, folk, industrial,
drum n bass, neo-classical, rockabilly, punk and metal...
this collection showcases just some of those artists and my work with them...

the cage is set in the heart of england: but working with the speed of fibre optic file transfers it really could be anywhere at all.

thank you to all the bands and labels for wanting to be a part of all this..
