Man Woman Machine (MWM) wurde im Januar 2013 von Joe Lupia und Brandi Kotlarz (verließ das projekt jan. 2014) in new england, usa gegründet. innerhalb von 10 monaten veröffentlichten sie am 10. november 2013 ihr debütalbum "From Darkness".
