die russische post punk band the quinsy wurde ziemlich am anfang des 21. jahrhunderts von vladimir “4.44″ tkebuchava gegründet. die band begann, in verschiedenen underground-clubs, darunter der red club, in st. petersburg aufzutreten, jedoch waren es meist kleinere electro-wave parties, da der sound der band damals sehr elektrolastig war.
