"Moonlight Asylum" wurde 2006 von brian swan als solo projekt gegründes, welches musiklisch er in richtung neoclassic mit dark ambient anleihen ging, doch ende 2007 gabs ein grossen stielbruch musikalisch und es vermischten sich techno, gothic, industrial und  metal musik. aus den soloprojekt wurde eine band bestehend aus brian swan (gesang)  carla piñeiro (gesang), joaquin estrada (gitarre) und julieta ciminelli (bass).

musikalisch geht es in richtung l'âme immortelle mit weiblichen und mänlichen gesang, tanzbaren beats, mal metal mal elektro-lastig.
