neutral wurde 1994 in moskau, russland vom sänger und bassist ash geründet, damals spielten sie noch harten industrial (industrial metal), bevor sie ihren stiel in richtung neofolk wechselten.
sie gilt als erste russische band die je ein neofolk live-konzert (1998) spielte. somit sind sie die pioniere des des genres in russland.
soviel ich weiss besteht die band mitlerweile nur noch aus ihren gründer ash.

dieses album wurde damals in folgender besetzung eingespielt:
ash (gesang, synths), ilya lipkin (gitarre, bass, mandoline), eugene voronovsky (violine) und veronika (gesang) und ist ihr erstes offizielles album.
