neutral wurde 1994 in moskau, russland vom sänger und bassist ash geründet, damals spielten sie noch harten industrial (industrial metal), bevor sie ihren stiel in richtung neofolk wechselten.
sie gilt als erste russische band die je ein neofolk live-konzert (1998) spielte. somit sind sie die pioniere des des genres in russland.
soviel ich weiss besteht die band mitlerweile nur noch aus ihren gründer ash.

dieses live album wurde damals live in der luisen kirche in koenigsberg am 30 may 2000 aufgenommen, in folgender besetzung:
ash (gesang), ilya lipkin (gitarre), eugene voronovsky (violine),  shelley (gitarre), yan nikitin (trommel).
